TRUMAN
SCHOLARSHIP
Applicants are automatically considered for
some scholarships based upon high school
class rank, grade point average and college
entrance examination score. Students are
notified of their automatic scholarships in
their official acceptance letters from the
University. These awards are applied to fees
first, with an excess applied to room and
board charges. All automatic awards are
renewable according to the renewal
procedures detailed later in this brochure.

The Missouri
Department of Higher Education is
responsible for carrying out administrative
duties and providing services to Missouri's
13 public 4-year schools, 19 public 2-year
schools, and 25 independent schools. They
also provide financial and informational
services to students of Missouri. |

$500 per semester to children of Assemblies
of God ministers $1,600 per semester to
children of nationally appointed Assemblies
of God missionaries |

University will match up to
$1,000 per year awarded by a student's home
Church. |

Southwest Missouri
State University offers
$3,600 per year to state residents in top
10% of class with ACT of at least 28.They
offer $2,000 per year for students in top
20% with ACT at least 26. |

offers a total of ten full tuition
scholarships to incoming freshmen based on
academic achievement: 5 Columbia College
Scholarships (includes room board), 5
Presidential Scholarship (does not include
room and board) |
